The Salem volleyball team came away from last night’s home match with Mt Vernon with a 25-22, 25-22 win to improve the Lady Cats to 5-8 on the season. The Freshman won in 3 sets and the JV lost in 3 to fall to 5-8. Salem is back in action tonight at Woodlawn.
South Central fell to Altamont 25-12, 25-19. Halle Smith had 8 kills and 10 digs in the win. Madyson Magnus 7 assists and Sierra Arnold 12 digs. SC is 9-5 on the year. The JV lost in 3 to fall to 8-6 and the fresh/soph lost in 3 and are 7-4-and-1.
