Police Beat for Friday, April 16th, 2021

A 51-year-old Salem woman was sent to the Marion County Jail from court on Thursday for a bond violation. Court records indicate Tammy Williams was taken into custody after she was tested positive for drugs. Bond was set at $5,000. Williams was in court on pending possession of a controlled substance
charges.

33-year-old Michael Lux of Apple Street in Wamac was arrested on an outstanding Marion County warrant to revoke his probation on a domestic battery conviction. Bond is set at $5,000.

37-year-old Marlon Martin of Riverview, Florida turned himself in at the jail on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant. He posted $300 bond and was released.

Centralia Police ended a high-speed chase after speeds reached an estimated 125 miles per hour around midnight on the Green Street Road near Farthing Road. The driver fled police following an attempted traffic stop at 6th and Sycamore Streets.
