Police Beat for Saturday, April 17th, 2021

Salem Police arrested a 29-year-old rural Salem woman for domestic battery following an incident at the Salem Holiday Inn Express where a pull fire alarm was activated during a domestic dispute.   Emily See of Tonti Road was taken to the Marion County Jail where she remained on Saturday.   Police arrived first and canceled Salem Firemen before they arrived on the scene.

A 20-year-old Washington, Illinois man was arrested by Salem Police on multiple charges following a Friday night traffic stop.   Brandon Lykins was arrested for driving on a suspended license, no insurance, having only one headlight, and on Jefferson and Tazwell County warrants.   The Jefferson County warrant has a bond of $10,000, while the Tazwell County warrant has no bond and was issued in a domestic battery case.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 18-year-old Sarah Mays of  West McCord Street in Centralia for alleged felony criminal damage to property.   She remained in the Marion County Jail.

Centralia Police arrested 25-year-old Amber Tolliver of South Franklin in Salem on a Marion County failure to appear in court warrant in a pending possession of controlled substance case.   Bond is set at $7,500.

45-year-old Kevin Gamblin of Hardacre Road in Salem posted a $1,000 bond and was released on a body attachment warrant in a divorce case.
