In Salem Rec/YMCA Youth Soccer play on Saturday, Daniels Wilzbach P.C. defeated Radiac Abrasives 2-1. Jackie Gilbert was the player of the game in the win, Madison Sauter and Adysen Pracht in the loss. Also sponsoring the youth league this year is Jeron Merrell Balazi Law, Grace United Methodist, Schmidt Ford and Marion County Savings Bank.
In Beginners League where no score is kept the players of the game were Zaid Baldridge and Skylar Gaston for Allstate Insurance; Brenna Lowry and Leah Byers for Douglas Veterinary; Jonah Findley, Nolan Brinkley, Athena Williams, Kaysen Findley, Meredith Wilkinson, Hadley Michel, Aubrey Branch and Ryker Tolka for Medicine Shoppe; Alaric Hunter, Benson Orrill and Elijah Polanski for Americana.
