A Centralia student has been seated as the 2021 Kaskaskia College Student Trustee. Alexis Enke was sworn in at Monday night’s college board meeting.
Board Chair Bill Hawley presented outgoing student trustee Larissa Hoffman a plaque for her hard work and dedication to the college.
The rest of the board will be reorganized at a special meeting that has been set for Monday, May 3rd.
In other action:
- The board accepted the retirement of longtime English Professor Steve Normansell. He taught at the college for 34 years.
- The board accepted the resignations of Kristi Hofferber as grants coordinator and Michelle Wessel as Physical Therapy Assistant Professor.
- Erin Campbell was hired as an instructional designer after a national search. She will work with faculty members on designing courses.
- The board approved the reappointment contracts of all professional, executive and managerial employees for the upcoming fiscal year.
